This workshop will explore traditional a cappella singing, such as Appalachian, Irish, Appalachian variants of British Isles ballads, early American hymns, rounds etc.Molly Andrews is recognized as one of the finest interpreters of traditional music as well as an outstanding vocalist in other styles, bringing a directness and intensity to everything she sings, performing on stages great and small throughout the US and in Europe.
Ms. Andrews is enjoying a visit to her favorite town after a successful run at San Diego Repertory Theatre where she collaborated with West Coast musicians Tony Marcus and Dan Wheetman in the world premier of 'Fire On The Mountain', a show centering on the lives of coal miners, their families, their music.
