Singer-songwriter, recording artist and producer Fran Avni
has been creating original music for over three decades.
An internationally-acclaimed performer, she engages her
audiences in dynamic interactive concerts,workshops and
artist residencies. Fran Avni's varied career covers
everything from early childhood literacy songs to traditonal
and contemporary Hebrew melodies.
Her latest work includes 48 songs/12 cassettes as Music
Author/Producer for one of North America's leading publishers
for educational children's material, Scholastic's Building
Language for Literacy Project. She has also developed music
for LeapFrog's award-winning I'M ALL EARS: SING INTO READING
with colleague Nancy Schimmel and LITTLE EARS: SONGS FOR
READING READINESS.These recordings are now in schools
across the US.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Fran moved to Israel where
she was one half of the popular duo of "Susan & Fran".
Returning to North America, Fran branched into delightful
recordings for children with the co-founding Lemonstone
Records Among them are LATKES AND HAMENTASHEN, MOSTLY MATZAH,
THE SEVENTH DAY, ARTICHOKES & BRUSSEL SPROUTS and the
environmentally-friendly DAISIES AND DUCKLINGS.

Singer/songwriter Bonnie Lockhart combines a love of diverse folk
traditions with a gift for lyrics both witty and compassionate, and
an active commitment to participatory, community-building music.
From her first recording, made nearly thirty years ago
with the anti-war folk rock quartet, The Red Star Singers,
to her most recent residencies in Oakland.s public
schools, Bonnie shares the transformative power of
song through performance, writing, recording and teaching.
Her songs have been widely anthologized, and recorded
by musicians including Gary Lapow, Charlie King, Robin
Flower, and Sarah Pirtle.
Bonnie gives concerts for children and families at
schools, libraries, festivals and community centers
throughout the west coast. She is past president and
long-time board member of The Children.s Music Network.
Dreams, Drums, & Green Thumbs, her most recent CD, is
an affirmation of Bonnie.s commitment to young children,
to the folk traditions that enliven her music, and to
