Laurie Story Vela has been writing & performing songs her whole life beginning with her family and her mother who saw Sound Of Music one too many times. Laurie has produced 27 recordings of original material with her songs and Laurie's Stories. Her releases of "big people" songs are on "All My Relations" and "Women In Waiting" featuring Laurie's versatile singing, drum and guitar. Her poignant songs go to the heart and often have the audience singing or sounding along.
Howard Schwartz is a versatile guitarist who play classical, flamenco, and jazz guitar as well as traditional styles. He played `Salea' in the spanish film, Trees Cry Out for Rain, and has accompanied singers at professional and other venues including Berkeley's Freight & Salvage.
