Lone Coleman, teacher of International Folk Dance at Berkeley Folk Dancers, for past 15 years. She started dancing as a child in her native Denmark. Got hooked on international folkdance as an adult and love the variety of steps and music.She has chosen Romanian dances for this workshop. Mostly learned the dances from Theodor Vasilescu, Cristian Florescu and Sonia Dion. The music is very beautiful and catchy, the rhythms not difficult, unlike other Balkan music.
Therefore, this workshop will be appropiate for new beginning or intermediate dancers.
