African Dance

An exciting and energizing West African movement and dance class instructed by Danielle & Nikka of Khaley Adouna West African Drum & Dance.Both Danielle and Nikka are natives of the Oakland East Bay Areas. They have been performing West African Dance professionally for close to 10 years. Their passion for this art form has taken them overseas to perform for international audiences, most recently to Taipei, Taiwan. They have had the opportunity to study with the top African Dance instructors throughout the United States.
This class will be accompanied by master drummer Samba Guisse from Senegal, West Africa. Samba is the musical director of Khaley Adouna West African Drum & Dance and has been called the "Senegalese drum Phenom" in Northern California.
