The San Francisco Free Folk Festival is sponsored by the San Francisco
Folk Music Club (SFFMC).
The SFFMC, founded in 1949, currently has more than 1,500 members,
many of whom gather twice a month to play and share music. The
club also
hosts three summer musical campouts and Camp Harmony, an annual New
Years camp for members. Six times a year, the club publishes "The
Folknik," a newsletter that doubles as a rich resource with information
about regional and national folk and acoustic music events. For information
about the club call 415-661-2217, or visit the SFFMC Web site at www.sffmc.org
