Tune your fiddle AEAE (ahead of time) and let’s jam on fiddle tunes in a whole new old way.

Many fiddle traditions (even classical) include tuning the violin in a chord, so that sympathetic open strings resonate with the string being played. Old-time music is full of tunes built on this rich tradition, many of which you may already know. Other instruments welcome to jam on old-time cross-tuned repertoire. Be sure to tune your instrument ahead of time or outside the workshop room, so that we have time to swap tunes and play.
