Jug band music is often identified with homemade and household instruments — a jug for bass, a washboard for percussion, and a washtub bass (or gutbucket). In this workshop, members of the CJBA will show you how to build (or enhance) and play these familiar elements of a jug band and actually make some goodtime music. Instruments will be available on which attendees can practice their skills.
