DADGAD Guitar Chords and Songs

This workshop will teach you how to finger chords in the DADGAD tuning. In this tuning, the bottom and top E string, and the B string are tuned down one whole step. This tuning is often used for celtic music, and is very handy for folk and rock tunes as well. Megan will demonstrate chord fingerings and teach Norwegian Wood by the Beatles, and a few other songs with handouts as time permits.

Megan McLaughlin is a local singer songwriter with 2 cds on the blahblahwoofwoof label, who has been writing in DADGAD for years. She recently finds herself playing Irish music several nights a week.
