Accomplishing a musical piece proficiently is worth the practice, but expressive playing elevates it to an art form. You don't need to play fast or follow complex arrangements to produce beautiful music. Whatever your level of skill on the autoharp might be, Tina Louise Barr will show how creative expression can put magic into your musical delivery.

Tina Louise Barr is a virtuoso performer of the autoharp, a multi-stringed American instrument. From the central valley of California, Tina Louise has developed a signature style on the autoharp that combines concise, prominent melody with her own polyrhythmic accompaniment. She performs and gives workshops across the U.S., and has placed in top awards in the International Autoharp Championship. She was invited to record in Nashville, TN on the Autoharp Legacy project, accompanied by session musicians Stuart Duncan and Dennis Crouch. She also has recorded with Michael Martin Murphey, as well as with the Black Irish Band. Tina Louise is a charter staff member of the California Autoharp Gathering, and was invited to be a main performer for her third time at the Willamette Valley Autoharp Gathering in Oregon. This year, Tina Louise Barr has been invited for her third time as a main performer at the Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering in Pennsylvania. She is a recipient of the Modesto Area Music Association (MAMA) Award.
