Anyone with a love for singing will enjoy Anne & Pete's tight harmonies and peaceful philosophy towards making music. They will lead the group in singing traditional and original folk songs while sharing their skills for finding harmony parts. Singing is meant to make us feel good! It will be a fun, informative and inspirational time to create a unique community around our love for music.
Anne and Pete are a husband and wife duo who met over 20 years ago through music. They were classically trained but their folk singing is down to earth and from the heart. They sing with simple accompaniment of guitar and clawhammer banjo. The Sibleys' music hit the national spotlight in 2009 with a blue ribbon finish in the "Great American Duet Sing Off" on National Public Radio's A Prairie Home Companion. In 2011 they left their beautiful mountain home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with their two young children and embarked on an epic journey of the United States. The tour lasted 13 months, covered 30 States and every show ended with the same song, sung in harmony. They found their new home in Monterey, California and latest CD releases include: Wandering To Be Found (2012) and Coming Home (2009).
