1:00pm Powell St. John
Powell St. John is a legendary American singer, songwriter, musician and artist. His musical career began in the mid 1960's in Austin, TX, performing folk songs on the harmonica and guitar. During this period, Powell was a member of the Waller Creek Boys; a folk blues trio featuring Lanny Wiggins and a young Janis Joplin. Janis would later go on to make a hit of Powell's song "Bye, Bye, Baby".

In this session designed for all instruments, learn how to apply basic music theory in a fun way.

Honky tonk and bluegrass music played with flair on acoustic instruments.

2:00pm Sea Shanties and Songs of the Sea (2 hours)
Peter Kasin & Richard Adrianowicz
We'll start with a brief introduction to the different types of shanties and spend the rest of the workshop singing as much as possible.
4:00pm Rozanne Gewaar & Band
Rozanne Gewaar and Josh Beemish share their original folk ballads that stretch from South Africa, across the American midwest, all the way to San Francisco. Expect deceptively sweet vocals, guitar and banjo that spin powerful tales of fracking, shipwrecks on the bay, and love for land and language.
5:00pm Art Peterson
Fingerpicking blues and ragtime guitar, old-time banjo and flaming accordion are Art's hallmarks. Expect a wide variety of music, some songs to sing along with, and guest musicians.
5:50pm Matt Small and Pam Small
Matt Small and Pam Small, the son and wife of Clem Small, will share one of Clem's songs and lead the audience in a sing-a-long.
