Dance 3 - South (Girls) Gym
Learn African culture through dance from Ciiku Ndungu-Case of Kenya, founder of Cheza Nami Foundation. An invigorating and uplifting experience. This workshop is great for beginners but all levels of proficiency welcome. Note: barefoot dancing, wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement.
Ciiku (Catherine) founded the non-profit organization Cheza Nami Foundation, which is Swhaili for "Come Play with Me". Their mission is to introduce children and adults of all ethnic backgrounds to African culture through interactive music and dance. The programs teach children and remind adults that music, dance and an open mind are essential ingredients for a beautiful life, where people of all backgrounds can reach across their differences to find a joyful common ground.
