Art Peterson  Fingerpicking blues and ragtime guitar, old-time banjo and flaming accordion are Art's hallmarks. Expect a wide variety of music, some songs to sing along with, and guest musicians. Art toured Germany and Austria twice in the early 80's with a guitar and two banjoes, then toured California with "An Evening with Woody Guthrie", and with "Charlie's Band" which featured musical saw icon Charlie Blacklock. He also toured extensively with "Those Darn Accordions" throughout the nineties, which included a performance on Penn and Teller's "Sin City" and Dick Clark's "American Music Awards". Art currently plays contra dances with "Wildcat Canyon" and performs regularly with "The Polka Cowboys", "The Lost Hippies", "The Possum Family Singers", and "Huey White's Show Band." |
