Malvina Reynolds Room - Room #324/326

This is the sixth time I've run a songwriting workshop at the SF Folk Fest, and every time we've come away with a finished song by the end of the hour. For all ages. Learn about the songwriting process - coming up with an idea, figuring out what to do with it, and organizing your ideas into a song format. .

Well-versed in an assortment of moods and styles, Hali Hammer is an award winning singer-songwriter who enjoys writing and playing a wide variety of music. Aside from performing her originals, she is a member of Jump-In, The ReSisters, and Occupella. Her diverse work (and play) have made her comfortable performing with all age groups, from preschoolers to senior citizens.
