Keeping It Simple: The Art of Bluegrass Rhythm Guitar
by Phil Campbell

You can learn everything there is to know about bluegrass rhythm guitar in about an hour. But you can apply that knowledge for the rest of your life without exhausting the possibilities. This workshop will teach the basics to anyone who knows how to play G, C and D chords on their guitar, but even expert players may find new ideas by reviewing these same basics.

Phil Campbell has played guitar since 1966. He first played bluegrass as a teenager in Cincinnati, a town with a distinguished bluegrass history. He has played semi professionally in the Bay Area since 1991, with Jammin' Salmon, The Grass Menagerie, Batteries Not Included and many other bands. He is also a veteran of thousands of late night jam sessions with players of all abilities.
