Learn a few of the most useful movable swing chords, then sing and play easy jazz standards and western swing songs. You're ready for this class if you can play barre chords fairly easily. (Barre chords are harder than swing chords.) Song sheets will be provided.Sylvia Herold performed for 16 years with swing trio Cats & Jammers. She now plays with the popular celtic/Grateful Dead jam band, Wake the Dead. She also performs vocal duets with her husband, bassist Chuck Ervin. Sylvia has recorded two solo albums of folk song.
