Samba, originally, was the term for many African dances that were brought during the 19th century to Brazil. The music is one of the most popular forms in Brazil. It is a 2/4 beat. Not much of the original is left after Samba dancing became famous in Europe and changed into a ballroom dance. Samba is danced in couples.

Lots of fun.
