Five Dollar Suit

Here’s a fine, hard working, talented bunch of cheap-suit serenaders, who get better each time I see them. They’re a little bit old-time string band, and a little bit country/bluegrass. Of particular interest is their sterling fiddle tune instrumentals and their flavorful, rootsy originals. There are the children of the Oh Brother phenomenon. One of the dozens of bands that have sprung up in the last eight years sharing their new found love of the old American classic folk songs. Their live shows are happy, energetic, and a whole lot of fun.
