Swap Rounds About Food
Joanne Orengo and Dave MacFarlane
Saturday, June 8, 2013, 4:00pm
Malvina Reynolds Room - Room #324

All ages are welcome to join, share, or sit back and appreciate as many food-related rounds can fit in an hour. This is roundsinging for fun and social connection. All voices are welcome. No experience required. Laughter is an essential ingredient.

RoundsRiot is a circle of friends who love singing rounds -- and don't love rules. For over 15 years, they have met monthly to learn and share rounds, based on the principles that roundsinging is the sinplest and most magical way to achieve fabulous harmony singing, and also delightfully non-hierarchical. There is no lead singer, no backup, no melody line taking precedence over the harmony. All voices are equally important, cooperation and deep listening are essential, and the results are divine.

The public is invited to join the first ever "RoundsRiot Market Crawl" planned later this month in North Berkeley's Hopkins Street, strolling and singing appropriate rounds outside the fish monger, bakery, poultry/butcher, and produce market.... See our website, roundsriot.weebly.com, for more information about this and other RoundsRiot gatherings.
